Mukhriz: Anwar has no more excuse for conspiracy regarding Dr. Mahathir, this round

Jerlun MP Dato’ Mukhriz Mahathir this morning said former Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad could not have been involved in a so-called conspiracy to demonize former Deputy Prime Minster and convict Anwar Ibrahim this time as the former had retired since five years ago.

That was what his defence was all about when he was charged sodomizing Azizan Abu Bakar and Sukma Darma Saasmitatmadja almost ten years ago.

Therefore, personally Mukhriz strongly believes that the allegations brought up by Saiful Bukhary Azlan are true and add, “He is a habitual sodomite*!”.

“The first natural reaction of a person when something like this comes up, gives a good indication of the truth”, when commenting Anwar’s immediate action seeking refuge at the Turkish Embassy and lying about how he was ‘invited’ to the diplomatic compound instead of ‘asking’ for it.

Of course, it is the same drama that we all saw before; how his life was under grave danger with arsenic poisoning and attempt on HIV injection claims, which no one could remotely prove“.

Mukhriz sternly put up his case “This is an admission of guilt. The reaction shows instinct”.

“Everything else is after thought and damage control. He seems to be taking the position of ‘offense is the best defense!’”, speaking to newsmen after the Malaysian International Dive Expo in PWTC this morning.

Mukhriz also is not surprised at the US State Department’s warning almost immediately after this sodomy case was highlighted.

He reminded that this is the same agency which provided USD 35 million grant for Anwar’s NGO, Foundation of the Future and Anwar admitted getting this handsome sum for his work.

Meanwhile, Tun Dr. Mahathir issued a short posting on Anwar.

Mukriz Believes Saiful’s Sodomy Accusation To Be True

KUALA LUMPUR, July 4 (Bernama) —

Datuk Mukhriz Mahathir said Friday he believed the sodomy accusation made by a former aide of Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) advisor Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim aide to be true.

“I am not surprised Anwar has been accused again for sodomy,” he said in a statement here.

Mukhriz said Anwar, in making wild accusations about others now, was actually trying to divert people’s attention from the sodomy issue.

The Jerlun MP said the fact that Anwar initially “ran” into the Turkish Embassy here, was itself an admission of guilt.

Mukriz said he was not also surprised by the U.S State Department’s warning not to take action against Anwar.

After all, he said, as the President of the Foundation of the Future, Anwar received a US$35 million (RM100 million) grant from the State Department.

“This proves Anwar has more than a normal relationship with the U.S government,” he added.
